Firm

Established in 1989 as a sole practice the firm now has three partners and a total staff of 35. The firm has Legal Aid franchises in the areas of personal injury, immigration, family, criminal, employment, housing, welfare and debt. The practice is organised into specialised departments providing full range of legal services to its clients. The firm has been involved in several high profile cases of recent times. It fought for justice on behalf of the parents of the black teenager Stephen Lawrence, culminating in a public inquiry set up by the Home Secretary under the Chairmanship of Sir William Macpherson. The firm also acted for the family of Dr Joan Francisco. This case made English legal history as the first case of civil murder in which there had been no previous criminal proceedings.
